Our processing fee is a borrower-paid, third-party cost disclosed in Section B of the Loan Estimate and CD of the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure — exactly like an appraisal. It is paid at closing through title disbursement.

That means zero out-of-pocket cost to the loan officer or broker, and zero impact on your origination fee thresholds.

Section B of the Loan Estimate and CD. Our fee is disclosed as a third-party settlement service charge — not originator compensation.

Excluded from QM points and fees. Does not count toward the 3% origination fee cap under the Qualified Mortgage rule.
